I am interested in whether, how, and why ecology shapes evolution (and evolution shapes ecology) through time, with an emphasis on microevolutionary pattern and process, adaptation, community dynamics, and field experiments. I currently work with Anolis lizards and threespine stickleback (Gasterosteus aculeatus).

I was a graduate student with Jonathan Losos at Harvard University from 2007-2013 and a post-doctoral researcher with Dan Bolnick at the University of Texas at Austin from 2013-2019. I joined Loyola University in the Fall of 2019.
